Cleanup WEST on Sat, 28-Apr-2012
Dan's scheduled the Spring 2012 cleanup for the west location (between mile marker's 147 and 148 of Highway 12 just east of Maple Plain.)
Some will be meeting early for breakfast (not free) at Monie's at the western end of the segment starting at 7:30am (NW corner of US12 and Baker Park Road, near mile post 147).
All are invited and welcome.
Parking for the pickup is Monie's lot, toward the highway, away from the building so as not to interfere with other restaurant customers, there is plenty of room.
Please RSVP with Dan by sending him a message here.

Next Adopt a Highway Cleanup – Sat 6/25/11
The next cleanup at the Mendota Heights location will be Saturday June 25th, 2011 at 9am. It will last as long as it takes the crew to make a pass along our segment. This'll probably take somewhere in the 1-2 hour range depending on turnout.
So I have an idea of how many to expect, please RSVP here.

Segment 2 Is Active
A fellow MN Carry Permit holder, Dan, talked with me this winter. He was interested in having a road segment with the sign "MN Carry Permit Holders" closer to where he lives. He lives in the far west metro area and picked a segment along Highway 12 near Maple Plain.
He went ahead and contacted his MN/DOT Adopt a Highway contact and picked out a segment. The sign is up.
Here it is on a google map.

Dan's arranged to do his first cleanup with a small group of 7 or 8 buddies on June 4th. For his first cleanup, he's not looking for new bodies to help out, but keep an eye out here. If you absolutely have to spend a few hours helping him out next weekend, let me know and I'll let him know.
If he wants help in the Fall or next year, we'll let you know on this blog.
